#TheWomanIBecame Photographic Project

The idea

A few weeks before the International Women’s Day (March 8) I was asking myself how I could celebrate this day through photographs. I was thinking of a special project that puts women of all ages in the spotlight and awakens their most beautiful emotions.

I started with myself - I’m deeply thankful to my mom for what I am today, and starting from this thought, I assumed there are other young women who would like to say Thank You and I Love You to their moms through warm portraits.

Also, I imagined this project as an overall celebration of women - for becoming young, capable, unstoppable creatures, that feel a strong connection with their mothers and, some of them, are experiencing the fulfilling state of being mothers in turn :)
